When it comes to temperature issues, here we will talk about the selection of Tg value in the PCB board. First, let’s talk about the Tg value. Tg value refers to the glass transition temperature of CORE. You can understand it as the softening temperature of the board. Graded , In ordinary TG130, TG TG150 and high TG TG170, different temperatures correspond to different Tg values of FR-4 fiberglass sheets, such as:
Around 130-140 degrees Celsius, the Tg value of common FR-4 glass fiber sheets can be used.
The temperature is about 170 degrees Celsius, which can use the Tg value of the FR-4 high-temperature ladder plate. Generally, the circuit board factory will recommend using Tg170 with high stability when working at this temperature for a long time.
For a temperature of around 260 degrees Celsius, use the Tg value of the polyimide material.
Regarding the customer’s request to work at a high temperature of 150 degrees for a long time, the engineer of the circuit board factory suggested that "in order to ensure the stability of the product, it is recommended to choose the TG170 board of Shengyi, which can withstand the high temperature of 150 degrees for a long time."
As for the thickness of the PCB multilayer board, it is increased according to customer requirements, and the thickness can be processed.
