PCB proofing refers to the production of a small amount of PCB samples for functional debugging before the mass production of circuit boards; after the functional debugging is completed, subsequent batch production will be carried out. This method can avoid production risks and reduce product errors. Loss.
What are the specific steps of PCB proofing?
1. The customer needs to tell the manufacturer the size of the sample, process requirements, product quantity and other relevant data through the drawing file, and then a professional person will quote for you, supervise the order and follow up the production situation.
2. According to the customer's requirements, on the relevant boards, cut the production boards that meet the requirements. Specific process: large sheet → cut sheet according to M1 requirements → copper sheet → gong fillet/edging → output sheet.
3. Drill holes according to the drawings and materials, and drill holes that meet the size requirements at a suitable position. Specific process: Laminate pins→upper board→drilling→lower board→inspection/repair.
4. Copper sinking, using chemical methods to deposit a thin layer of copper on the surface of the insulating hole.
Specific process: coarse grinding→hanging plate→copper sinking automatic line→lowering plate→immersing in 1% dilute H2SO4→thickening copper.
5. Graphics transfer, transfer the graphics on the production film to the board.
Specific process: hemp board → lamination → static → alignment → exposure → static → developing → inspection.
6. Graphic electroplating, electroplating a copper layer, gold nickel or tin layer that meets the thickness requirements on the exposed copper skin or hole wall of the circuit pattern. Specific process: upper plate → degreasing → secondary washing → micro-etching → water washing → pickling → copper plating → water washing → pickling → tin plating → water washing → lower plate.
7. Use NaOH solution to remove the anti-plating coating layer, so that the non-line copper layer is exposed.
8. Etching, using chemical reagent copper to react in order to remove non-circuit parts.
10. Print characters on the circuit board, mainly the manufacturer's information and product information.
Specific process: after finishing copper with green oil → cooling and standing → screen adjustment → printing characters → final copper.
11. Gold-plated fingers, a nickel/gold layer of required thickness is plated on the plug fingers to make them more hard and wear-resistant.
12. Forming, the shape required by the customer is produced by die stamping or CNC machine. The molding method is organic gong, beer board, hand gong, and hand cutting.
13. Test, mainly through the flying probe tester to detect open circuit, short circuit and other problems that are not easy to find on the circuit board visually.
